    Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: This vineyard is located on the limestone plateau of the Cotes du Castillon. The 2016 Chateau d’Arce is a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple colored, it leaps from the glass with vivacious black cherries, warm black plums and mulberries scents plus nuances of cassis, violets and bay leaves and a waft of crushed stones. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is charged with energy, giving black fruit and mineral layers with a firm, grainy backbone and lively lift to the finish. (LPB) 90+
