  • Producer's Tasting Notes

    Bright crimson with hints of ruby and magenta. Jubey fruit aromas of plum and fruits of the forest, with a hint of star anise and savoury spice. This wine is medium bodied with sweet dark berry fruit, chocolate and spice flavours. Its mid palate fruit generosity is complemented by a dash of rustic Sangiovese, adding a savoury edge and moreish tannin finish to the final blend. Enjoy now with a bowl of slow cooked Italian beef stew, flavoured with rosemary, sage and pancetta, served with a side of creamy polenta; or a tomato and eggplant ciambotta.
