Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: A delightful vibrancy and intensity on the nose with the hallmark notes of yellow peach, nectarine, lemon curd and a hint of gun flint.
Palate: A full flavoured, textured wine with great complexity. Yellow peach and nectarine dominate the palate which is typical of all Piccadilly Chardonnay. The wine displays hints of grapefruit and toasty cedar spice that complement the soft, alluring acidity. Barrel ferment texture and a subtle creaminess combine with cedar and spice oak that adds to the complexity. A wine of immediate appeal, the 2019 Chardonnay received the ideal vintage conditions and will continue to cellar well over the next decade.
