Tên gọi (climat) “Les Lavières” được đặt từ thổ nhưỡng giàu đất đá phiến được gọi là “laves”. Những tảng đá phiến lớn này đã được sử dụng để xây dựng lăng mộ từ thời vương triều Merovingian cai trị nước Pháp. Bouchard Père & Fils đã mua lại 3.94 ha Savigny Premier Cru từ đầu thế kỷ 20 và cho ra đời dòng rượu vang đỏ Bouchard Père & Fils Savigny-Lès-Beaune Les Lavières thanh tao, quyến rũ.
Rượu vang đỏ Bouchard Pere & Fils Savigny-Les Beaune Les Lavieres 1er Cru, được làm từ giống nho Pinot Noir, Burgundy, Pháp. Nho được thu hoạch thủ công cho sản xuất, sau khi lên men, rượu được ủ 12-14 tháng trong thùng gỗ sồi Pháp (25-25% mới).
